Three fully complete lessons for PSHE/PD to teach secondary school students some basic ‘managing money’ lessons. Lessons are planned to cover roughly 50 minutes.
Lessons cover:
- Good V Bad debt - What is debt? What types of debt are there? Which forms of debt/loan are ‘good’ and why? Which are ‘bad’ and why?
- Managing a budget - students given different case studies to learn how to plan a monthly budget
- Types of bank account - What is the difference between a savings account and a current account? What accounts are the best for students currently and why?
