This is the Pure substances and mixtures lesson of the AQA Activate scheme of work for year 7.
Included is a powerpoint presentation, starter activity and cat and stick activity.
There is a simple practical in this lesson - I have included the Activate sheets for your convenience, but these are not part of my resources.
The lesson can easily be delivered by a non-specialist as all of the posed questions are answered on the slides.
There is a ‘literacy support sheet’ for SEN students or those who struggle with writing.
