This 7 page Creative i-media R081 - Storyboards worksheet is the perfect resource to use in lessons, extended tasks or as home learning.
The work sheet is split up into 4 key sections. Section 1 (page 1) identifies the definition, uses and purposes of Storyboards, as well as providing an example of a Storyboard for a particular brief.
Sections 2, 3 and 4 then test students on that knowledge and build upon it, starting with short simple recall questions, moving to further reading and revision videos, understanding camera shots, angles and movements and then onto the creation of a Storyboard, finally ending with a 12 mark question based around Storyboards. Students are talked through each step and it has been designed so that no matter what knowledge students already have, the content is effective whilst possessing challenge.
