This resource has been designed for students working towards Functional Skills Maths qualifications at Level 1 (Edexcel-Pearson, NCFE, City and Guilds, AQA, Highfield Qualifications, NOCN, Open Awards). It contains an age-appropriate, 100-slide PowerPoint lesson and a 31-page workbook on ratios.
It is an ideal resource for Entry Level 3 students progressing to Level 1.

PowerPoint Lesson
The PowerPoint clearly explains what ratios are and how they are used. It contains many examples and many opportunities for students to practise their working with ratio and proportion skills. The PowerPoint also contains links to three short videos on ratio and example exam questions. It is an ideal resource to introduce the ratio component of the Level 1 specification and for revision purposes.
