Read, write, order and compare numbers E3.1

Work pack designed for Functional Skills E3 maths, but suitable for any students learning to count, read, write order and compare numbers up to 1000 - year 3 level objectives.

The booklet is in Word so is editable for your students’ needs.

The resource is divided into 4 parts:

• “Counting” - which focuses around sequences and counting in multiples;
• “Writing numbers in words” - which includes some simple money problems encountered by adults
• “Writing numbers in digits” - which includes a simple online research task
• “Ordering and comparing numbers” - which introduces some units of measure with whole numbers

There are 16 tasks in total and 4 challenges (one for each part). There is also a “Tutor’s feedback sheet”, “Learner’s reflection sheet” and an “Answer sheet”
