Reading at Home Reward Bookmarks (9 designs)

These book marks have been designed to encourage children to read at home. After 10 reads at home the children will get a reward. We use one of the single hole punches from Amazon to mark off when a child reads at home.

The designs include dogs, hearts, dinosaurs, rainbows and lots more. Each bookmark has a gorgeous reading quote at the bottom.

At my school this is how we run it:
Every 2 weeks on a Friday the children are then invited to pick a reward with an adult, these could be:

• An extra play outside
• A cookie and hot chocolate in the staffroom
• To play a board game
• An extra PE game e.g. the parachute

We change the rewards to keep the children excited. Of course you can also offer rewards such as small toys, like some bubbles or a new pen.
