Writing lesson based on the theme of refugees,

Lesson is based on an extract from ‘The Displaced: Refugee Writers on Refugee Lives’. Students begin with vocabulary matching task, answering questions based on techniques / vocabulary used in the extract, writing a diary entry using specified techniques / vocabulary, self / peer assessment based on a point scoring system.
