Pupils can use the template to create a Top Trumps card for a Roman citizen. There is a sheet with some ideas of types of Roman people, but objects could also be included (e.g. the ballista). Their knowledge of the Romans should come through when choosing the rating (could be out of 10 or 100).
Once they have made their card, they can play Top Trumps together.
They could also be laminated and kept for future years when teaching the Romans.
This template could be used with a range of topics. I have previously used it with the topic of Victorians, too.
