Two lessons which focus on the characterisation of Romeo.
First lesson centres on different types of love before reading the section of the play where we first meet Romeo. Key quotations were then put on the board and the pupils were given 3minutes to deeply analyse the quotations. We then fed back as a class - notes on the PowerPoint.
Second lesson focuses on how to respond to an Eduqas exam style question (can be adapted to other exam specs), with a high level example included to help the pupils. My class responded really well to this and felt a lot more confident with the exam after these two lessons.
