Salience - Visual Techniques Toolkit - Worksheet and PowerPoint

This resource focuses on the visual technique salience. The worksheet begins with an information box which explains the technique and its effect. This is followed by activities which focus on identifying and explaining the technique in a range of images contained in the accompanying PowerPoint presentation.

The PowerPoint presentation contains all the relevant images for the worksheet plus some extra information on some of the questions/points. An additional activity focused on salience in advertising is also included in the PowerPoint, though please note that this requires the download of an external image (for copyright reasons), however links are provided to make this easy for you.

This resource is suitable for a high school audience. The worksheet is included in both Word and pdf formats to ensure no loss of detail.
