A really fun game which lasts 5 minutes you can play at the start of the lesson.

This is an excellent way to consolidate school subject vocabulary, opinions and introduce slightly more complex phrases such as:
• Is good at .
• Is weak in.
• Likes the teacher.

If there are 25 pupils in the class, then select 24 items (one item less than the number of pupils), I commonly use lollipop sticks as it is a convenient way of marking desks.

During the game, pupils are only allowed to stand at desks with lollipops - therefore it means one pupil will always be “out” similarly to musical chairs.

I ask pupils to stand as it is faster and causes less fuss.

To start:
One pupil stands in the middle and shouts out a statement:
“On y va…tout le monde qui aime la musique”.
If pupils agree: they run to a desk with a lollipop stick and stand next to it.
If pupils disagree: they stand still at the desk.

The pupil who is “out” shouts a new statement.
"On y va…tout le monde qui aime le prof en anglais"
If pupils agree: they run to a desk with a lollipop stick and stand next to it.
If pupils disagree: they stand still at the desk.

It is so much fun and strengthens Talking, Listening and Reading skills.
