A 7 week unit including planning and differentiated Widgit (Communicate in Print) resources. Work is differentiated for a wide range of children to access - I am currently teaching children working at mainstream Y1 - Y5.
Unit of work includes:
- I can identify some of the different responsibilities in the home and categories which I can do and should do.
- I can explore the important of taking responsibility for my health and wellbeing.
- I can investigate how to take responsibility for my appearance.
- I can explain the importance of keeping our homes clean and tidy.
- I can explore the importance of taking responsibility for recycling.
- I can investigate the importance of budgeting within the household.

Each lesson starts with a practical/verbal task and then a written task which can be completed with an adult, as a group or independently depending on the needs within your class.
