This is a comprehensive bundle for teaching Shakespeare’s language, life and times. It functions as a preliminary set of lessons before starting with a play. It can be used to support the teaching of any of Shakespeare’s plays. It consists of:

Lesson plan

The lesson plan is for one lesson but it is condensed and there is enough material to cover several lessons depending on student level and existing knowledge. One activity involves analyzing the Prologue to Romeo & Juliet to identify linguistic devices, rhythm and rhyme scheme.
