Sinusoidal waves - interactive (Excel)

Interactive investigations of sinusoidal waves is carried using spreadsheets programme (excel). Enhanced understanding of the effects of the parameters of sinusoidal waves is expected. It is left to the pupils to summarise the effects the parameters. The parameters to be changed, and see their effects, are: the amplitude, the wavelength, the period and the frequency of the sinusoidal waves. It is advised to focus on the first three as the frequency is linked with the period - frequency = 1/period.
