Everyone’s thinking, decision-making, and behaviour can be heavily influenced by cognitive biases, and there are over 180 known examples of automatic ‘short cuts’ and default thinking modes, as well as ways that the brain copes with insufficient time or information, or information overload.

This resource is an ideal presentation for a class covering one specific type of cognitive bias (the fundamental attribution error) and discussing why we tend to make different judgments about our own behaviours versus other people’s behaviours.
