Source and Summit - To the Ends of the Earth

For teachers of RE/RS in Catholic schools currently implementing the new RECD (Source and Summit), this is a scheme of work for you

Module 5 in Year 7 (To the Ends of the Earth)is fully planned, sequenced and resourced here with a set of PowerPoints and accompanying workbooklet for students. This provides clear information, a variety of tasks and instruction, leading to immediate feedback.

Consistency is useful, and so lessons have a consistent layout with Driving Questions, knowledge retrieval recaps, and opportunity to consider the meaning of scripture/wisdom related to the day’s lesson. However, there is also a need for variety, and this is catered for with different means of gaining new information, and a range of different tasks with immediate feedback.
