Story Writing Booklet

This booklet is ideal for KS2 and KS3 for story writing. It slowly builds student’s confidence and ability on how to craft an engaging, riveting and full of emotions story.
It starts with simple, basic but important acitivities : What is tense, tension and using first and third person in story writing. There are plenty of examples in the booklet for students to get inspired and compare and contrast between and effective and boring story.

Then, we engage with 3 techniques: Pathetic Fallacy, Media res and Flashbacks.

There is an assessment to assess students understand of the unit.

This booklet can also be used for second language learners but of higher level. Advance and Proficiency.
