 * Presentation – Complete video for teachers and learners on Straight Line Graphs Part 2
 * A/AS-Level, IGCSE, IB, PSAT, and AISL - Exam Style Questions which covers all the related concepts required for students to unravel any International Exam Style Straight Line Graphs Questions
 Straight Line Graphs play an important part in our modern lives. They are used extensively in Sales and Marketing, Economics, Business, Psychology, Science and Medicine. Here is a Graph from a medical study of infertility that has several straight line portions in it.
 * Learner will be able to say authoritatively that I can:
 Interpret the equation of a straight line graph in the form y = mx + c
 Solve questions involving mid-point and length of a line
 Know and use the condition for two lines to be parallel or perpendicular, including finding the equation of perpendicular bisectors
 Area of rectilinear, collinear points dividing a line segment in a given ratio
 Transform given relationships, including y = ax^n and y = Ab^x, to straight line form and hence determine unknown constants by calculating the gradient or intercept of the transformed graph
Mathematical slope can be used to measure the steepness of a mountain, the growth of money in a bank account and the ups and downs of the national unemployment rate or a roller coaster. Its formula is based on changes in the “x” and “y” axes of a graph on which data is plotted. Understanding slope is an important work skill for many jobs, from architecture, which requires calculating roof pitch, to any job necessitating analysis of graphs.
