This improper and mixed number Tarsia jigsaw can be used in the standard way - the students cut up the pieces and try to assemble them to complete the jigsaw. Or with a few simple edits, it can be made into a rich, challenging activity. Try making 3 deliberate mistakes for the students to find, or replacing a few of the correct answers with blanks to be filled in.
