In this debate lesson, students will debate a variety of topics. The PowerPoint will walk you and your class through each step of the process. First, small groups will discuss terms and rules of debate. Then groups will break into pairs, and choose to be for or against their topic before it is given. Topics (included) are then given and partners will prepare their debates. Includes a chart for the terms and a table for recording assessment of the debates by peers.
