This is a lockdown friendly (non ICT based) resource to support the teaching and learning of the Dangerous Dogs Act. It is expected to be used as part of the BTEC First in Animal Care, Unit Three Animal Welfare, Section B on welfare legislation. A task is set, with information from a range of sources given to support the learning and to help students to draw information from more than one source of information. A simple resource to cover the detail of the specification, with a little more detail for more able learners. It would also lend itself into the discussion on breed specific legislation. My less able learners really enjoyed this activity and I got some good learning out of it.
