The Geographical Code Challenge

This activity is designed for used as an engagement or focus starter in a Geography/Humanities lesson. Students are encouraged to decode the 3 Geographical names suggested by the alpha numeric code and identify the link between the three names. Each activity will take no mire than 1 minute and students can be encouraged to compete between classroom groups of the teachers organisation (row, table etc). There are 20 challenges, each relating to a different group of place names. Hyperlinks are embedded throughout the presentation for ease of navigation. The whole presentation contains 3 slides.
