This resource is a twelve page PDF document with activities to do based on the SOLO reader book The Sea Dog by Penny Matthews and Andrew McLean.
The activities allow the students to reflect on the story and extend their understanding of the themes within this text. There are eleven worksheets in total, one for each of the eleven chapters.
This resource has been designed in this manner as this is the type of book that is often used for reading / literacy groups. This allows for the work to be completed as the students work their way through the text.
Each chapter contains a worksheet which includes three comprehension questions and a small vocabulary, writing or drawing task.
