It is always great to start of a writing project with children predicting what the key text will be about. This worksheet will allow children to:
- Make a prediction about the key text “The Selfish Giant”. Children will be given a chance to make a personal opinion and justify it.
- Think about how illustrations make us (readers/ audience) feel and think.
- Find out meaning of words and use them in a sentence.
- Reflect on predictions made.
