The aim of this scheme of work is for students to study the Tudor period through the lives of the six Queens rather than through Henry VIII.
Students will learn of the Wars with France, English Reformation, Pilgrimage of Grace as well as other key events from Henry’s reign, while studying the queens.
Students will also explore the validity of their legacy in popular memory, using sources and interpretations throughout.
