The Spanish Armada (2/3 lessons)

I have used this resource with my Year 8 class, when teaching about Elizabeth.

Lesson 1: The start of the Spanish Armada
- Boxing match where students pretend to be characters to work out why the Armada was sent
- Create a propaganda speech

Lesson 2: The results of the Spanish Armada
- Starts with the reasons for the Armada
- Go through the story of the Spanish Armada (plan vs reality)
- Create a story board or create a diary entry
- GCSE practice question on the Armada (Key features)
