A lesson on the Suffragettes, part of a scheme of work on ‘One mans terrorist, another mans freedom fighter.’ Starter assesses memory recall and knowledge of prior learning. Main task is modelled using the clip of Emily Davis incident. Very interactive if you can do it on the Smartboard software, see Contiuum chart. Plenary is a write up task. I follow this up with an analysis of The Suffragettes (2015) movie. Its very well recieved by pupils. Feedback welcome - especially if you’ve adapted, but be nice!
