The Tempest William Shakespeare language genre lesson that looks the use of prose and blank verse in Act 3 Scene 1 and Act 3 Scene 2 of the play. We explore how non-rhyming iambic pentameter is employed by Elizabethan and Jacobean writers to indicate class and status, and evaluate why Caliban has been given the gift of blank verse. We also look at the link between his use of language and Michel de Montaigne’s writings.

A very useful way to study the play for both KS3 and KS4 students preparing for GCSE English Literature. Fully differentiated throughout.

A nice resource but definitely overpriced - not a lot more than you see in the sample before you pay. The price is for 16 slides.
