This is a set of instructions to make a throwing machines. There are two differentiated scale versions of throwing machines that can be made. They measure about 170mm long, 100mm wide and 180mm high. Both start off the same and can be changed between the two versions. There is a Mangonel which uses string to add tension and a rubber band version which is a simpler make.
It uses 16mm x 16mm lengths of wood which I have always been able to get out of scrap pieces of wood and reused bottle caps, so it is a cheap project.
