6 week/ 28 lessons in this SOW which are suitable for higher ability Year 9/10 students. Students are taken through the full novel and explore key events, characters, themes and context. All lessons are focused on skills required to successfully answer AQA Language Papers 1 and 2 with frequent SPAG lessons to recap use of punctuation, sentence types, connectives etc. Differentiation is evident throughout with every week having an ‘all, most and some’ target.

This ressource is worth 5 stars for the right teachers, let me explain: I purchased this directly as the preview file would not download. In fact I am teaching international section students in France and there is too much UK exam specific materail in the SOW for our pruposes. Otherwise it is great for UK programme teachers!
