A very useful worksheet on trial and improvement. I particularly like that the worksheet progresses nicely - substitution activity, followed by easy trial and improvement questions (with a temple table suggested) and more difficult questions to finish. There is even a nice extension task should pupils finish. This would be great to use with a good KS3 class and above. Q1a is the same as Q1b.
