Tudor England - Thomas Wolsey's Reforms

In this lesson, students explore Thomas Wolsey’s significant reforms in the English legal system and government during Henry VIII’s reign. Activities include video analysis, guided reading on Wolsey’s reforms, and examining the impact of the Star Chamber, subsidies, Eltham Ordinances, and the Amicable Grant. Students will also analyse Wolsey’s foreign policy achievements like the Treaty of London and the Field of Cloth of Gold.
