This touch-typing intermediate Power Point template continues & builds on touch-typing beginner template 1. The intermediate template is set up as a To Do Now, although it can be very easily adapted to suit teacher requirement or their own specific needs. In addition, the template includes starter lessons, activities, web links, videos & links, as well as incorporated homework templates for students to complete for their on-line digital literacy quiz.

Due to changes in the educational & school policies of sign ups to websites, I had to come up with a template that we can use that provides evidence of student engagement & participation and continue learning and developing their skills, but also to support literacy so I created these fun templates that can be applied & used for any typing website that the teacher may decide on (for this I use typing.com website)

Fully editable, change content any way you like, and add and develop the lessons further if you wish. You can incorporate this activity as an informal participation assessment. The benefit of this is that students turn up on time, and want to improve their grades and performance. I have included an easy, simple marking key that you are able to use if your so wish. I was a real success with low-ability students, boosting their grades, confidence, and their computer literacy skills.

Benefit:

  1. You can use the template with any typing website
  2. No student set up, sign up, or log in, protecting student privacy
  3. Support class order, incorporate routine & support for student learning
