Universal Indicator and the pH Scale

8 Files to support the teaching of a practical lesson testing substances with Universal Indicator. Includes a detailed Power Point with starter, choice of activities depending on your chemical resources, choice of worksheets and 3 plenary activities including quiz, self assessment and loop card game.

Aimed at Year 5-8 but easily adaptable for any age group and ability. I have used the basic structure of the lesson with both Year 4 and Year 7 this year. Works well if you have already covered the pH scale and the use of litmus indicator but not necessary.
