More and more of the world’s population are choosing to live in urban areas. The process of building urban areas - urbanisation - will be key to building the homes of many generations to come. But what is urbanisation, and what does it mean for the environment? In this lesson plan, students will be introduced to urbanisation, with selected video presentations giving them a wider understanding of the issue. Activity workshops and assignments are included to enhance student’s practical engagement with this topic.
