The lesson plan and resource took me about one and a half hours to create and when you consider you can use it over again with other classes, I think that is a valuable saving of time. Re the PowerPoint idea - they are not considered best practice when using mainly words, as opposed to images. It's far better to read through the printed material with students. I've bought lessons on this site that have flashy slides but then there is no explanation of the teaching points and no student activities. I have aimed to create lessons that include a lesson plan and activities that demand a depth of learning and demonstrate understanding. I hope you will judge the resource on how effectively it helps you to teach the subject and the students to learn it. My lessons have consistently gained Outstanding and Very Good comments at OFSTED inspections for quality of teaching so I hope this will reassure you of their value. Also, items are more expensive due to the commission paid to TES. (50 percent in this case).
