This resource contains 20 different activities that provide structure and progression for learners of all abilities to practise reading and spelling ‘wa’ and ‘qua’. The activities range from tracking exercises, reading single words, sentences and text, to games such as dominoes, heads and tails and superheroes snakes and ladders. There are activities that require the pupil to write single words, those that require sentences and an activity that requires the pupil to use the spelling patterns in their own free writing. This product is suitable to use within the classroom, with a small SEN group or with home learning pupils either with a parent or tutor. The number and variety of activities aid the overlearning a dyslexic child needs without the boredom. The games can be useful to return to as a revision activity away from the point of teaching to ensure the learning is embedded.
