A lesson presentation examining war poetry using Wilfred Owen's poem &'Anthem for Doomed Youth&';. It contains contextual information for the poem in the form of recruiting poster images and images of several of Owen's drafts of the poem. The text of the poem is included as well as an explanation of a Point, Example, Explain the effect (PEEe) writing framework and how it may be employed in writing about the poetic techniques and devises used by the author.

@LindsayHale The "errors" you refer to are clearly a terms/definition sort, an effect and frequently used English task; a mere press of a down key would have cleared your confusion.

I do hope that those who have used this have corrected the confusion about the definitions/literary terms. It's a useful PowerPoint, but only if the errors are corrected. Perhaps this is part of the class task... but this is not made clear.
