An entire lesson for students working at grades 1/2/3. There is a starter of 10 multi-choice questions (with answers), a powerpoint which takes students through how to expand brackets of the type a(bx + c), a fully differentiated resource which students can write on. The first level is multi-choice and the other levels are written solutions (note the answers to the questions are not supplied). There is a "check out" which I use as a plenary to assess what learning has taken place.
