The lesson covers the following:
Starter:
A video explaining the physics behind sound and radio waves
Teacher Methodology:
Using the powerpoint the teacher will explain:
- Wireless networking (wifi and bluetooth)
- How bluetooth works and its uses
- when do we use wifi
Activity:
Pupils will complete a 5min lesson plan style worksheet which will also focus on technical terminology. More able pupils will have an extension activity to complete from the text book.
Teacher Methodology:
Using the powerpoint the teacher will explain:
- Wired Networks (The three cables)
- Networking Comparisons
- Points to considered for wired networking
Activity:
Pupils will complete a 5min lesson plan style worksheet which will also focus on technical terminology for all three cables. More able pupils will have an extension activity to complete from the text book.
