This is the eighteenth lesson in the second theme of the new WJEC/ Eduqas 2016 specification for geography.
This lesson looks at Cardiff as a global city. As Cardiff is a fairly local example, the information on the slides is just what the students need to know for the exam. The lesson like the others also contains exam practise. There is an attached assessed homework which can be started in the lesson and finished off as homework. The mark scheme is also attached.
Any feedback on this lesson would be a great help as they will help to improve future lessons that I upload.
Hi,

Thank you so much for your feedback. I take on board that in the PowerPoint there are no tasks as such that you believe won't engage the pupils. As this lesson is just filling in the gaps and providing students with the necessary information that they needed to know. When I taught this lesson I focused more on developing the students exam practical skills by looking at every exam question, including the ones included in the assessed homework booklet, to make sure they are fully aware of the question types and to help them consolidate the information learnt across the course.

Any suggestions on ways that you believe would make this lesson more interesting, then, of course, I am happy for them.

All the best,
