One of a series of 20 tests written specifically for WJEC Eduqas GCSE Physics

Ideal for assessment, feedback, homework, independent study and revision.

Each test is out of 20 marks and composed of:
• eight multiple choice questions,
• two 3 mark questions,
• one 6 mark question.

Full answers are provided to help students see exactly what they need to gain each mark.

Other tests in this series include density, momentum, specific latent heat, forces and elasticity, static electricity and electric fields, pressure in gases, atomic structure, radioactive decay, fission and fusion, Newton’s laws, describing motion, waves, the electromagnetic spectrum, lenses and images, black body radiation, magnetism and electromagnetism, space physics, kinetic and potential energy.

*Please note, these topic tests are designed to assess the content of the WJEC Eduqas Physics GCSE specification but they are not in the format that the questions will be on the test. None of the multiple choice, 3 mark questions or 6 mark questions are past paper or sample questions – they have been written entirely by the team at DME to help teachers and students assess their knowledge and gaps and to aid with revision and exam preparation.
