Wo warst du? Imperfect tense and holidays

Teacher PPT to introduce the key question … wo warst du in den Sommerferien? Pupils learn how to say where they were and are introduced to countries with the imperfect tense e.g “Ich war in Amerika”. Pupils describe their experience in the past using positive and negative descriptions. Pupils also recall weather and different verb forms in the imperfect tense. There is a puzzle to review learning. There is also a worksheet to support recall of countries. Attached is also a set of prompt cards of country flags to support speaking work.

This is pitched at low level learners and is ideal to support SEN students.
