This is a 4 week plan which can be used alongside the text Wonder by R.J.Palacio. It includes teaching direction and activity suggestions. Some resources are provided including model texts, checklists and research. I have used this with Year 6 classes. Lessons can easily be extended or adapted to suit different classes. There are some resources which I used for this unit which I haven’t included (e.g. formal letter examples) but these can easily be found online. I hope this is useful.
