Writing an Information Text

This is a collection of editable worksheets and templates I created and used for Year 3 for an ‘Information Text’ unit. Although I created it for Year 3, it can be easily adapted for other year groups.

Includes:

• Worksheets, learning objective sheets or templates for each stage of the writing process - learning the text, creating and performing actions, boxing up template, vocabulary worksheet, shared writing, writer’s toolkit/marking toolkit, hot task sheet etc.
• ‘Headings’ lesson PowerPoint, activities and worksheet.
