A notebook of 34 note taking frames for all of the most common topics taught in Year 12 Microeconomics section of the A-Level Economics, whether that’s AQA, Edexcel, OCR or Educas. It includes pages on Specialisation, Markets, Market Failure and Government Intervention.
I’m pleased to share the latest update with you, which the aim of increasing
student’s ability to use the booklet independently. This includes the introduction of QR codes and sections which are more intuitive to fill in. As a result of these changes, these notebooks have become a valued tool in my classroom due
to their versatility.
Primarily, I use them for comprehensive revision, where students complete the entire notebook before an exam, and for targeted intervention. However, their uses extend to several other applications:
•Lesson Summaries: Useful for recording the most important information from each lesson.
•Ongoing Revision Notes: Suitable for Year 2 students to work through Year 1 Notebooks at their own pace throughout the
year.
•Flipped Learning: Ideal for tracking pre-lesson preparation.
•Homework: Can be assigned for students to complete after each lesson to reinforce learning.
•Cover Work: Print off individual sheets to to review past topics or prepare for upcoming ones. Alternativelistribute
them at the start of the year so students can use them during your absence, whether
•Distance Learning: Effective during the summer holidays or for students on long-term absence.
You can print the pages individually or as a complete booklet – they are designed to be just small enough to staple using my school’s photocopier, though hole-punching and using project folders with prongs works well too.
This download contains two other files:

Please note that this version does not include an interactive digital version or a version with notes pages, as feedback indicated most teachers prefer the printable versions.
I hope you find these notebooks as beneficial in your teaching as I have. They are designed to be adaptable and supportive, helping you to meet a variety of teaching needs with just one tool.
