Harvest Reading Comprehensions Bundle Year 3 and 4

This bundle contains a collection of reading comprehension booklets with the theme of harvest aimed at Lower Key Stage 2 (7-9 year olds).

The Harvest Festival booklet covers what the harvest festival is, when it is celebrated around the world, its history in Britain and how it is celebrated today.

Harvest Around the World

The harvest around the world booklet covers Thanksgiving in the USA, rice festivals in Asia, the yam festival in Ghana, a fruit festival in Thailand, the Jewish holiday Sukkot and the harvest moon festival in China.

Thanksgiving

The Thanksgiving in the USA booklet is perfect to use with children outside America to teach about the American version of harvest.

Each booklet has three differentiated levels. There are a range of ‘what,’ ‘when,’ ‘where’ and ‘why’ questions. There are also true or false, multiple choice questions and some that require more detailed answers. There is a colour and black & white booklet for each level. Answers are also included.
