L1 - Identify key features of recount writing.

**L2 - Propose changes to vocabulary to improve consistency -
Past/present tense and first/third person tasks
**L3 - Organise writing in chronological order **
Children write instructions for brushing teeth, linked to using chronological order.
L4 and 5 - Organise writing into paragraphs (write a diary as Ben)
Children to use the resource sheet provided to write a diary as Ben from Gangsta Granny.
L6 - Evaluate and edit by peer assessment, proposing changes
Children to work in pairs to edit and improve their diaries.
L7 - Plan a recount in the form of a diary
Children to plan their own diaries, as Ben, based on the chapters. Use the planning resource page to support with ideas for each paragraph.
L8 - HOT TASK - Write a recount in the form of a diary
