Year 5/6 Young, Gifted and Black reading

This resource is based around the following pages from the book Young, Gifted and Black: Mary Seacole, Matthew Henson, Ava Duvernay, Bessie Coleman, Barack and Michelle Obama, George Washington Carver and Malorie Blackman. It is 5 days of reading based around the following skills: fluency, vocabulary, retrieval and inference. The resource includes answers and a differentiated version for lower ability children, which has snippets of the text of it to support these children in reading.
