Year 5 and 6 Writing Support Pack - 18 A4 Learning Mats

The booklet covers the following areas: Sentence Types (single and multi-clause), Conjunctions, Sentence Openers, Relative Clauses, Cohesive Phrases, Parenthesis, Expanded Noun Phrases, Dialogue, Commas, Semi-colons and Colons, Passive Voice, Modal Verbs, Paragraphs, Shifts in Formality, Verb Forms, Subjunctive Form and Spellings.

This resource is aimed at year 5 and 6 teachers. Designed to assist with writing across the 5 and 6 curriculum, the resources can be used as individual learning support mats, as posters for display or combined together into learning booklets that the children can refer to during lessons. As a current classroom teacher, teaching across 5 and 6, my children use the resources to assist them with their writing.
